Since getting contouring surgery 3-in-1 at this hospital, I don't think I've had a single happy day. I had the surgery to look prettier. After surgery, I couldn't even look in the mirror, and I fell into depression and developed social anxiety.. Because I was young and wanted to do it as soon as possible, I didn't look into it any further and just thought that since it was a nearby hospital and a big hospital specializing in facial bones, of course they would do well.. I'm the one I resent most for going ahead with the surgery so rashly, but when I see this hospital still acting like it has nothing to do with me, sometimes I just want to give up on everything, and then suddenly I come in like this once in a while to look into revision surgery just in case.. Choosing a hospital is free, and this post is also about my own experience. I have nonunion in the cheekbone area, but the doctor says that as long as the bone isn't loose, I can just live with it without revision. My face has also sagged a lot, and they say it's because I gained weight and told me to lose weight. Before that, I had no fat, so they injected fat up to three times. They also told me to gain some weight. They did acknowledge the nonunion, but they say they won't do bone revision surgery. My jawbone is uneven and a mess too, and they say it's dangerous because the nerves are close, but other hospitals say they can do it, so I guess I can understand that they don't really want to do a risky revision on a patient who won't make money. They say they'll only remove facial fat, but the anesthesia fee alone is 500,000 won. Do they really charge that much even for general anesthesia? I've seen the doctor for almost 10 years, and they're so good with words that every time I go, I'm drained, so I don't even want to go back and argue anymore. Every time, it's because I'm unwell and suddenly gained weight.. Apparently every problem is because I'm not healthy..... There's no way we can even have a conversation.... If anyone is thinking about getting surgery, please research carefully, and please don't touch the bones if at all possible. Even if you do, make sure you meet a doctor who will take responsibility to the very end.
