I think a doctor being kind or not has no proportion to surgical skill. My personal opinion is just for reference.. I went in after hearing that many people do revision surgery with dermis after looking into silicone, Gore-Tex, and other options. But on the way home, a question mark popped up in my head. “Since this is a surgery with no implant in the body... if it’s this good, why doesn’t everyone do it? There must be a reason it isn’t more common..” So I looked up a lot of articles about dermis online. I gave up on dermis for my first surgery Conclusion 1. Difficult to remove if revision surgery is considered later 2. Changes in T-zone skin (becoming oilier) 3. The nose changes along with weight gain and loss 4. I gave up because I think there’s a reason it isn’t mainstream
