It was a young, big-built male doctor with a refreshing mask. The consultation was really confident and brief. But they made my epicanthoplasty completely uneven. Then a woman, maybe a nurse or assistant, snapped, 'Ah, you’re not supposed to say that!' She got irritated and muttered in a rude tone, even sneering for a moment. Then she said, ' You didn’t hear that, right? You didn’t hear it, right?' but I had already heard everything, and then I was put under anesthesia again. I should have brought a recorder. Back then, so many Chinese patients were coming, and it felt very factory-like.
