I had the surgery about 10 years ago.. Back then, another place recommended incisional surgery, but Kyoto consulted me for a non-incisional approach. They also said to do eye correction along with it, but not both eyes just correcting one eye would be enough. The price was pretty high, but I had the surgery at Kyoto (it was a hospital famous for being expensive at the time, but also known for doing good work). The result was satisfying. When my friends had severe double-eyelid scars and the swelling wouldn't go down, people still say my eyes look natural and pretty. But maybe because I only had eye correction on one side, the uncorrected eye opens less well relatively, and less tension goes into the double eyelid. So I went back to have only one eye corrected again. I don't know if I remember correctly, but I think they said the price was the same even if you only did one eye, so I paid 120 for one-sided eye correction. It was expensive, but the annoying issue disappeared, so I'm very satisfied. Even now, people around me still say it's one of the hospitals that makes it look really natural and pretty, like my own eyes, but with a slightly higher price. Oh, and 10 years ago eye correction was supposedly always done with an incision, but Kyoto said non-incisional eye correction was possible, so I did it.
