Since this is a second revision surgery, the situation was that I had to choose between double-layer stitching or excision. They said excision was definitely possible. They said there was only 1 mm between the scar and the scar... they didn't even measure, just looked at it casually and said that. When I actually measured it, it looked like it was over 3 mm..? Other hospitals all said there wasn't even 1 bit of extra room. If you do excision and the tissue doesn't come together, there is no way to restore it, so I passed right away.
