The consultation was based on CT and X-ray, and I don’t like flashy noses, so I think my direction matched the director’s. They also explained the implant in enough detail. I was debating whether to get silicone or no implant, and they even advised me on what to do when I was unsure. The manager was also kind without giving off the shady, sleazy vibe that so many other clinics do. Overall, it left a good impression. I had my first nose surgery here, and I’m writing this because I’m satisfied! Reason for surgery: 1) The tip of my nose is short 2) My face lacks overall dimension 3) I want to move away from a round, cute impression 4) I think I’ll look much better if I do it Surgery goals: A natural line between straight and gently curved, like Karina’s nose Not too high, but higher than my current nose A natural nose that improves the bridge and tip from my original nose From the front, not sharp but rounded, with less of the nostrils showing than before No flashy nose that screams plastic surgery No pinched nostrils or alae like a power socket Materials used: Silicone 2.5 to 3 mm, ear cartilage + septal cartilage Surgery review: I didn’t have a major complex about my original nose, and even though it wasn’t especially pretty, it also wasn’t a nose with any major flaws, so people around me advised against it, saying it wasn’t worth taking on various side effects. Even so, after the consultation, I gained trust and decided to go through with it. The after photo is from the day the splint was removed (day 8). I still have a slight protruding-mouth and weak-chin look, but once I got my nose done, my side profile became much prettier, so I’m glad I did it. The line came out so beautifully too, so I’m satisfied. People around me all say it turned out well.. The swelling went down quickly, so I went to work on day 9, and the unsensitive older men at my company didn’t even notice ^^ What I’m happiest about is that it doesn’t look like plastic surgery. They said the swelling will go down even more here, so it’ll become even more natural, right? I was worried it might turn pinched because they said my skin doesn’t stretch very well, but I think they really took care of it well. They say it’s hard to succeed at nose surgery, so I’m truly grateful to the director for doing such a great job on my first surgeryㅠ.. I hope many people read my review and go here... Reason I chose this clinic: I went to more than 10 consultations. At other clinics, they said my nasal skin doesn’t stretch well and even for a first surgery recommended donor rib cartilage, and some clinics recommended silicone up to 4 to 4.5 mm, with at least 3.5 mm on average. This clinic was the only one that recommended about 2.5 mm, but after deciding on the clinic, I got greedy and said I wanted around 3.5 mm, and the director said it would definitely look obvious and that we needed to go lower, so we compromised at a maximum of 3 mm. I’m so glad we didn’t go higher. I heard they used silicone shaved down from 3 mm. Also, many places consult without CT scans, but here they checked the CT to see how much silicone would be good and also looked at the septal cartilage size, so I was able to proceed without donor rib cartilage. The manager and staff were also kind. Usually, so-called sleazy vibes, pushy recommendations, or rude attitudes are common, but everyone here was nice and kind. It doesn’t seem like Avek Plastic Surgery has been open for a very long time, and I hadn’t seen many ads, the number of reviews on plastic surgery apps wasn’t especially high compared to other clinics, and its recognition wasn’t that great, so even though it was the place I felt most drawn to after the consultation, I honestly hesitated. But when I looked at the director’s blog, I noticed they consistently posted about each surgical case, including methods and before-and-after examples. Even while I was still debating after the consultation, the posts kept getting updated regularly. Reading those posts gave me a lot of trust. The manager also said the director’s goal is to finish the nose surgery right the first time without needing revision, and that the operating room hygiene is excellent, which made me like the clinic more. Also, from the limited reviews, most of them were along the lines of people coming because they saw someone around them had good results... which made me think this might actually be better than a clinic that advertises a lot, so I decided. I feel good about making a good choice.. I’m very satisfied.
