My double-eyelid line was uneven, so I went to get a consultation for a second revision surgery to make the thicker side match the thinner side. The manager consults first, and there’s a human eye diagram anatomically drawn in the medical chart, so they use that to explain what parts will be touched during surgery and how it will change. They also tell you what surgery will be done. Then you have a real consultation with the director. The director kept speaking casually to me as if talking to a child, which was a bit uncomfortable. I’m not young either; but customer service and surgical skill are separate things. Based on what we talked about with the manager, they went into more detailed explanations.. They said it’s harder to make the line thinner again than to make it thicker, that they’d have to release adhered tissue and redo it elsewhere, and that they’d need to take fat from the upper area and use it. They said a lot of difficult things. Maybe because I went in the morning, I was tired and couldn’t focus very well ㅡ They told me two surgical options: 1) revision on both eyes, 2) revision on only one eye. The cost for option 1 was the highest among the places I visited.. more expensive than nose surgery. They said aftercare was included for 2 years. Option 2 was cheaper, but they said the chance of it loosening was high, and even if it did loosen, they wouldn’t do another revision for free. The consultation looked very professional. And the consultation fee is 5,000 won.
