I had functional nose surgery, and honestly, there was not even a 1% functional improvement. Another clinic I was still considering told me I probably didn’t need functional nose surgery, but here they said it would be better to do the functional part too, so I trusted them and went ahead. Honestly, it’s not that I got better and then relapsed, it’s that there has been no change at all since the surgery... The director and the manager are really kind, but I really didn’t want to have revision surgery, and in the end the cartilage became too visible, so I’m going to have revision surgery... At first, until the swelling went down, I liked the shape, but once it went down it became so natural that it’s almost impossible to tell it’s different from my original nose... Even people around me can’t tell. I did it here because I was thinking about functional nose surgery, but otherwise I should have gone somewhere with a design I liked better. Looking back after the surgery, everything feels too natural, too little changed, more like they care about not showing anything than about making real change?? And the nose-tip lengthening style all seems similar. I’ll probably get the revision at another clinic.
