I had double eyelid surgery with the buried suture method 4 years ago. First, a distinctive point: they opened the operating room door while doing the surgery (to reassure the guardian). Both my parents and I were satisfied with that. The consultation manager wearing a Piaget watch and dressed very glamorously... had a strong presence. I remember the consultation with the manager being much longer than the consultation with the doctor, but well, hospitals in Gwangju are all like that... ㅜ At the time, I told them I wanted an in-out line to a semi-out line, but the doctor said buried-suture surgery is something you only know after trying it, so you can’t choose the line.. The result was an in-line that I didn’t prefer, and it took about 3 months to become natural. It showed a lot when I looked down. When I closed one eye, the knotted thread looked greenish? It only showed if you looked very closely, and now, 4 years later, it’s not visible. (I guess it was dissolvable thread.) At present, the double-eyelid line that I had made has loosened, and above it another outer line has formed, but since it loosened I’m actually satisfied. They seem to be famous here for incision and big-eye surgery, and I actually saw the eyes of patients who came for follow-up; they looked more natural than I expected. So if you’re going to do that, I recommend it, but for buried-suture surgery, go somewhere else.
