I went for a consultation around the end of December, had surgery the following week, and now it’s day 8 after surgery. It was the last place on my visiting list, and I had already left a deposit at the previous hospital, so I was seriously debating whether to go... I’m glad I went! My eyelid skin is thick and the space between my eyes and eyebrows is fairly narrow, so before surgery I was always worried I would end up with a harsh look or puffed-up eyelids. Here, before I even asked, they pointed out and asked whether I was worried about exactly those things. Because of my allergic rhinitis I rub my eyes a lot, so the inner part of my eyes is thick, and they caught that too without me saying it. I really, really, really liked how they considered all of those factors when making the surgery plan! I had been to 8 other hospitals, and most of them never mentioned any of this. I definitely felt that the director here was very meticulous. At the other consultations, I had to ask questions for the conversation to continue, but here they pointed out all the things I was curious or worried about before I even asked, so I decided to have the surgery. It’s been a little over a week, and friends who had double eyelid surgery all say the line is pretty, and even my picky mom said the line is really well done. The staff are all so kind, and especially the nurse in the operating room was so friendly and cute,,,, amazing,,,, so sweet! Every time I come in for a follow-up check, I can see the director, and because he is gentle and kind, I can ask questions without feeling awkward. But if you want a very obvious, flashy line, it might be better to go somewhere else. They seem to focus on making it as safe as possible so it won’t fail... it’s good, but it might feel a little disappointing. I also regret not insisting harder on opening the inner corner more. But well, making the line higher or opening the inner corner can be done later anyway, so I think it’s better than overdoing it and ruining everything... Anyway, overall I really like this hospital. I’m glad I visited 9 places and did all that legwork...
