I can’t bring myself to leave a bad review for an eye clinic, so... When I had surgery at Gyareumhan, during the consultation they explained the side effects clearly whenever I asked about them, and they described in detail what kind of result to expect. So overall, they told me honestly whether my face was the kind that would gain a lot from surgery or lose a lot from it. After the surgery, the nerves around my jaw felt tight, and when I smiled my lower lip was slightly crooked and the sensation was dull, but they were more worried than I was and told me to come in for treatment twice a week. While checking my progress, if anything seemed even slightly imperfect, they would genuinely worry and think it over with me, so much so that I told the doctor, I’m satisfied, and I’m glad I had the surgery. The manager also took care of me like a real auntㅠㅠ People say cosmetic surgery is easy these days, and some people think that whatever the process is, only the result matters, but I think the way patients are treated and the process of discussing what they want and solving problems together are really important. The person who has to live with the changed face is the patient, after all. Only when you honestly explain what can be gained, what can be lost, and what has to be accepted can the patient understand the situation and prepare to accept the change. That’s how you can trust a clinic. In that sense, Gyareumhan was really goodㅠㅠ The process and the result were both reassuring and satisfying. The clinic I had surgery at now says different things before and after surgeryㅠㅠ Before surgery, they didn’t give me enough explanation about how my eyes would change, so I only found out after the operation that if I had eye correction surgery, I couldn’t get a round in-line shape. And before the surgery, the buried suture line was said to be in-line or in-out, but after the surgery they told me it had been set as out-line, higher than my original lineㅠ Of course, they probably raised the front part to make it prettier, but I had told them I didn’t want the front part showingㅠㅠ The result may still turn out well, but I think any changes should be agreed on before surgery. Even when I said I wanted it loosened again, they told me it was done well, so why loosen it, and that if eye correction is undone, the eye shape will change and may come undone asymmetrically, so it’s better not to do itㅠㅠ (Before surgery, they said removing the eye correction would be easy.) Objectively, the result may still not be bad, but just as the doctor has personal tastes, I also have the direction I want, and none of that was reflected. The more I spoke, the more their words changed, and my distrust only grew. I finally understood what people mean when they say cosmetic surgery mistakes make your heart hurtㅠㅠ Honestly, for me there seems to be nowhere like Gyareumhanㅠㅠ Getting surgery here was one of the best things I’ve done in my life.
