Because it’s a popular hospital, I could get a consultation only two weeks after booking. It’s on the 21st floor near Exit 1 of Gangnam Station. Since it’s right behind the station, accessibility is good. After filling out some basic personal information and having a short meeting with the consultation manager, I met Dr. Park Nohyuk for the consultation. As I’d heard, he was honest and there was no pushy atmosphere, so I felt comfortable during the consultation. But compared to the previous hospital I had consulted with, which was very professional, the explanation felt a bit lacking. I guess I didn’t understand it fully. That’s partly my fault for not preparing questions in advance, so I can’t say that was entirely the case for everyone, haha. If you have questions, I recommend preparing them beforehand. Still, I was impressed by how he kept asking whether there was anything else I was curious about and tried to clear up my concerns. He also spoke plainly about clear limitations, and explained the areas where he was confident, which gave me trust. He explained side effects honestly too, and said aftercare is thorough. I went because they said they pursue natural results, but maybe because I’m quite conservative, what stood out to me was that the director actively looked for ways to get better results. Until now, this had been my top hospital in my mind, but after the consultation I felt like something didn’t quite match, so I’ve started to hesitate. Still, that’s just my personal feeling, so I recommend going for a consultation yourself. The manager was very friendly, like an older sister I know well. Likewise, there was absolutely no pressure, and seeing that she even asked whether anything was lacking, I felt like they were actually taking feedback on the consultation, which built trust. Maybe my expectations were too high, because I did feel disappointed after the consultation, but since I only visited hospitals that seemed truly trustworthy, I think this place definitely had strengths compared with the others. Since it’s a hospital with a lot of word of mouth, I think it wouldn’t hurt to get a consultation at least once.
