While consulting with the doctor, we looked at the mirror together, and they slightly lifted the tip of my nose and said the height would come up by about this much, and that they would use my septum. For the bridge between the eyes, they would use silicone. Since my asymmetry is severe compared to other people, they wanted to do a right-side osteotomy so that it wouldn't look crooked. They said the silicone wouldn't be a ready-made product, but would be carved to match my facial outline, forehead, bridge of the nose, and nasal tip line before inserting it. They said they only do one surgery in the morning per day, which made me trust them a bit more. Other hospitals are often factory-like.
