I had upper eyelid surgery and nose surgery 10 years ago. I went for double eyelid surgery, but they removed fat with upper eyelid surgery and said they'd do the crease later after 3 months. They cut under my eyebrow and I still have the scar. I didn't get double eyelid surgery after the upper eyelid surgery. The nose was done with Gore-Tex and there were no side effects. But if you later think about revision surgery or removal, Gore-Tex isn't great...
