At first they said I couldn't have a separate consultation with the doctor unless I specifically requested it, and I had to only consult with the manager, but it ended up that the doctor was available and I got to consult with him too. The doctor looked at me very clearly and didn't recommend any uncomfortable procedures. The surgical method recommended by the manager and the one recommended by the doctor were completely different, so I think you absolutely have to get the doctor's consultation. Also, he seemed confident, so somehow I trusted him.
