When I was younger, I wasn’t interested in plastic surgery, but in high school my friend and teacher asked why I was opening my eyes in a way that made wrinkles on my forehead, and that was when I realized I had ptosis. So I got incisional double eyelid surgery, epicanthoplasty, and ptosis correction at a plastic surgery clinic affiliated with my dad’s company, and honestly, my eyes got bigger than before and it’s easier to open them, so I’m happy. Also, the doctor explained ptosis kindly and talked a lot while doing the surgery, so it was pretty fun lol. While operating, he said the reason there wasn’t much bleeding was because he was cutting with a laser and coagulating at the same time to stop the bleeding lol. If I had to mention a downside, there is some scar left from the epicanthoplasty, and the doctor said that since my right eye had weaker opening strength during surgery, he corrected that side more strongly, so maybe because of that, it seems a little overcorrected compared to the left eye. Still, I had a sunken eye and a lot of fat in my eyes, so it was a difficult case (I only later realized it was a difficult case lol), and for that level I’m still satisfied.
