When I said in the Kakao consultation that I wanted an overall consultation for things like eyebrow bone reduction and eye socket reduction, they told me that for those two surgeries I would need to bring an X-ray, and that I would have to pay 54,000 won out of pocket at Yoo Vision Radiology in the next building, but that the consultation fee would be free. But the day I went happened to be a public holiday, and when I actually went to Yoo Vision Radiology, that clinic was closed. So I went all the way there from the provinces, but I ended up going to the hospital without getting the X-ray taken. The person at the front desk kindly said they had been thoughtless and apologized, and I thought, well, that can happen. When I went, it seemed like the person at the front desk was on the phone, and they were talking about how transgender patients come a lot, and that it's a surgical method developed by Doctor Kim Nambok, and that the details of the method are secret and things like that. They said a lot of Japanese and white people get the surgery. When I consulted with the doctor, he didn't try to sell me by cutting costs or anything; he had this full of his own pride and didn't try to hold on to customers. He looked at my forehead and said I would need four things: eyebrow bone reduction, eye socket reduction, forehead lift, and Art Volume. He said that if we took an X-ray and looked at the condition of the bone, it would be about 5.5 to 6 million won, so I thought, ah, roughly four procedures would be 6 million. He also recommended other things besides those surgeries, and I was like, huh..? what is this? He said that even though I had eye correction in the past, one side still had worse ptosis, and that it would be possible to operate on only one eye, and mentioned 2.9 million. He said surgery would be possible three months after forehead surgery, and that surgery was also possible even while getting orthodontic treatment. But he also said it would be good to do a surgery that pulls up the fat on the front cheek to reduce protruding eyes, and I wondered if I really needed to do even that... (The cost I mentioned earlier was what I discussed with the doctor, then after leaving I talked separately with the manager in a room.) Sigh I went there only thinking about the forehead but with all the recommendations and estimates for my face, I got a bit of a reality check. Still, it's possible to get more volume without implants, and my forehead is such a total mess that I do want to do it! For reference, two years ago I had a consultation for endoscopic forehead lift at LaBom, and they also recommended doing it, saying they could already see how I would age. But since I only discussed volume and reduction etc. there, like at K-Art, I wonder if they had applied an event discount back then because it was 2.62 million won. This place is definitely expensive though.
