I knew this was the only place in Korea with a high number of surgeries for inward brow bone reduction, so even if it might not be the safest surgery, I had already made up my mind before the consultation to go ahead and do it. The consultation was kind, and everyone at the hospital was kind too. My forehead had a wide frontal sinus area and the brow bone thickness was thin, so the surgical conditions were not good. The pain and swelling after surgery were personally quite severe. The pain kept going for up to 2 months. For 2 weeks, I didn't look like a human. After the surgery, I had to wear a headband for 6 months, which was no ordinary inconvenience. Six months is very long. During the surgery itself, the pain wasn't severe. I'm very sensitive to pain, but it was at a level I could bear fairly easily. The pain for one week after surgery was extremely hard. After surgery, my appearance improved especially from the side. From the front, it was of course better than before surgery, but I wasn't completely satisfied. The scalp incision area was very noticeable for about 3 months at first, but after that it seemed to get a bit better. For someone with a hopeless forehead that can't be shaved down and has to have the bone cut, I think this might be a decent surgery.
