I had surgery to reduce the fat on my face because I had a lot of it. But after losing the cheek fat, my cheekbones actually feel more prominent. They seem to focus more on removing fat than on the face as a whole. I'm not extremely satisfied with the surgery, but there was almost no swelling, so I could even go to work the next day.
