I went for a consultation to get double chin liposuction. The doctor briefly touched my face and said my chin is too short, which makes me prone to a double chin, so even if I got liposuction, it wouldn't have a dramatic effect ㅠ Still, they said it would be better than not doing it. They said chin botox would also be good, but I didn't like that so I left it out. I originally hadn't even looked around anywhere else, so I just booked right away. The manager in charge was extremely kind. But the OR nurses;;; were really awful. I was waiting for surgery, got called, lay down in the OR, and then they said I wasn't the one and sent me back out, so I had to wait endlessly. It was delayed by more than an hour compared to the surgery time ㅡㅡ Then when it was finally my turn and I lay down, the people in the OR kept sighing like they were exhausted, saying how hard it was, acting clearly like they didn't want to do it, while giving the injections and getting ready, and I felt even more uncomfortable than they did. I could hear everything the patient under sedation in the next OR was mumbling, which was scary;; and they were giggling to themselves while listening. They really treated me like I was invisible lol When someone disappeared for a bit, they'd gossip behind that person's back too. Anyway, the OR nurses were really bad.. It's been 6 months since the liposuction now, and maybe because I also dieted, my double chin has mostly gone away. But as the doctor said, it didn't disappear in a super dramatic way, so I'm a little disappointedㅠ Still, I'm just accepting that it's because of my chin structure. At least when I take side-profile photos or use the regular camera, I barely have a double chin, so I'm satisfied.
