This seems to be mentioned a lot for double chin liposuction, so I went for a consultation. I made an appointment and had the consultation. First I talked with the director in the consultation room about my concerns and what I wanted improved, and roughly what direction I wanted. The director was very kind. Then I consulted with the surgeon. The consultation with the surgeon was maybe 3 minutes at most? Very short. He wasn't especially kind or unkind and only said what was necessary. He felt my face and told me what was needed and what wasn't. There was no over-treatment. I asked about other procedures too, and he bluntly said they weren't necessary, to the point it was a little awkward. And he was honest... He told me that in a case like mine there wouldn't be dramatic changes, so I hesitated a bit.. The price matched the website, but it was before tax, so jawline + double chin was in the 1.3 million won range, including aftercare. I was only recommended jawline + double chin liposuction. + Added after coming back from surgery I had jawline + double chin liposuction. The surgeon is so blunt.. Don't expect a very detailed consultation. He only says what he needs to say, but he did tell me realistically that dramatic changes might be hard compared with other places, so I went ahead with the surgery thinking there shouldn't be any side effects.. I wasn't expecting a completely V-shaped line from the start, I only wanted to remove the double chin, so this clinic probably wouldn't suit someone expecting dramatic results. On the day of surgery, I arrived, washed my face, had my blood pressure taken, got the design marked, and then went straight into the operating room. It wasn't the kind of thing where they put you to sleep first and then start; the surgeon came into the operating room and then sedation was started, so I wasn't worried about any switch-out. The surgery ended very quickly.. Felt like 20 minutes? About 5 minutes before it ended, they woke me up and had me lift my head, turn it to the side, and so on, and the finishing liposuction(?) was done after I woke up. Since local anesthesia had already been done, I didn't feel anything. I'm recovering from surgery now, and from the first day there was less swelling than I expected.. So little that you wouldn't know unless I said something. I have no bruising at all. If you touch the jawline, you can feel thick swelling, but visually there's almost no difference (this feels like it'll become fibrosis soon).. Still, I can tell the double chin area has been reduced. I'll probably only know the exact line once all the swelling is gone.
