So they delete posts here too? lol I came back to this community after a long time. I state that this post is not written to slander the hospital or spread falsehoods to damage its reputation, and that there are no false statements in the content of the post. It was written based on the consumer rights guaranteed by our Constitution and the Framework Act on Consumers, for the purpose of sharing information and helping other patients, and I state that it has no intent to defame the medical institution beyond the public interest. Last summer, I started looking into buccal fat removal, which had already been a source of stress for me, and after going to consultations at several places, I decided this seemed like the best hospital, so I chose to do it here. Since I also wanted to improve my appearance, I really wanted to do it, so I planned to get a mini lift, buccal fat removal (6 procedures total), and a masseter muscle tie for the double chin. But they said thread lifting absolutely had to be included, so I thought about it, but right before surgery I told the manager I wouldn’t do thread lifting. I said to pass that along to the doctor, and in the end I lay down on the operating table. While I was lying there, the manager came into the operating room and said something like, "The doctor says thread lifting is essential if you want to shape things properly during the mini lift," so I was like, okay, I guess that makes sense, and stayed on the operating table. Up to this point there was really no problem. Honestly, the manager seems incredibly, incredibly kind and like a very good person. The doctor is also really kind. So I was lying on the operating table, and there were one male nurse and one female nurse next to me. They told me the anesthesia was going in, and then I just drifted off. But I had clearly requested CCTV recording before the surgery, and the manager was aware of it. I remember going into surgery a little after 2, and after it was all over, the manager and the nurse? woke me up, and I think it was around 9 when I got up. I was still groggy from the anesthesia, so my memory isn’t very clear, but that timing is about right. Then, after coming to the hospital several times and piecing together my memories before and after the surgery, I kept thinking the surgery time had been way too long. What I remember most clearly is that when I woke up, the doctor wasn’t even visible. So while monitoring my recovery, I talked with the manager on KakaoTalk and asked to see the CCTV, and they said they’d talk to the doctor first. After that, in the end, I got turned away with something like, "it would be difficult to restore it." I had clearly asked to see the CCTV not long after the surgery, and even now I still don’t really understand. Maybe because it was a one-doctor clinic, they had me under anesthesia and were moving back and forth between consultations.. But the surgery result itself is okay. Honestly, I don’t even know whether the thread lifting was included or not, but when I press on my cheeks after the buccal fat removal, there’s really nothing left but skin and flesh (I specifically asked them to take out as much as possible).. As for the mini lift, whether it actually lifted or not is one thing, but there are two mirrors in my home bathroom so I can see my side profile, and my upper and lower lips used to be almost parallel, which stressed me out a bit, but now the lower lip has tucked in a lot.. I really realized how important the side profile is. But one side of the mini lift scar did remain quite a bit. I’m not sure whether that was due to the surgeon’s skill or because I didn’t apply the ointment enoughㅠ And something else strange: I was supposed to get chin Botox and square-jaw Botox (they said they’d include it as a service), but when I asked a few days after the surgery, they said they gave the injections under anesthesia. Does that make sense? It’s not that I’m upset about those few tens of thousands of won.. it just felt off. And the amount I actually paid differed from the quoted amount by several hundred thousand won. On the day itself I was nervous before surgery, so I didn’t notice, but while sorting out the money I found outㅋㅋㅋ And if you look at the review posts, there’s someone who had thread lifting and said it took 4 hours too.. I just felt like it’s too awkward to bring up now, and after hesitating whether to write it or not, I’m just jotting it down.
