It's been 10 years since my nose surgery. The director isn't the type to pursue anything too excessive. That's good... but after the first surgery (silicone + septum), the inflammation didn't go down.......so I guess it was because of the silicone. My nose kept looking swollen, and even the doctor saw it and said it probably couldn't be fixed, then right there he said let's cut it open again.....and asked if I'd eaten, and when I said I hadn't eaten much, he said then we could go ahead with surgery, and suggested revision surgery with donated rib cartilage, so I paid 1 million won more and had another surgery. ..But I didn't even know what donated rib cartilage was and just went ahead with it I was 20 back then and didn't know much.... After the revision with donated rib cartilage, there was no more swelling or wound-healing problem, but now it has warped and bent a bit. My nose was slightly crooked to begin with...but anyway, I'm just living with it now after opening and closing the nose again. ........I still can't forget crying because it was hard to breathe, sleeping sitting up for 3 days after the first surgery, and for 5 days after the revision... And I have a somewhat aged face, and because of the nature of donated rib cartilage, the nose length and columella were extended for real.... Now that I'm older and only the tip of my nose is bent, I just live with it.. Whenever I take ID photos, I have to turn my face because my nose is bent And when I pick boogers, the left nostril and right nostril are different widths......... I really tell you everything to the end. I just live grateful that my functional nose is fine and that I didn't get contracture. Compared with my old nose, it really did get much better That said, because I don't have a septum anymore, if I get a nosebleed on one side, the other side bleeds later too.....Going to the ENT clinic I used to go to as a child feels oddly awkward I still go there even as an adultㅎㅎㄹㄹㄹㄹㄹ Anyway, I was too greedy and was someone who gave up a lot already, so I live being satisfied with this, but I don't think I'd recommend it to other people... I mean, nose surgery itself. Not this hospital specifically, but nose surgery itself
