The surgeon was unexpectedly calm and seemed fine. I decided to have the surgery because the consultation was good. He recommended canthoplasty, but was not pushy. His attitude seemed to be, “If you want it, go ahead.” I definitely wanted canthoplasty, so I had dual canthoplasty, and I think a hundred times over that it was the right decision to do it together. If I had only had double-eyelid surgery, it would probably have felt like just one line had appeared on my eyes. With canthoplasty, my eyes look much bigger, and becoming prettier with just one procedure really boosted my confidence. People who like a glamorous look would probably be a good match for this place. The surgeon also seemed to prefer higher, more glamorous eyelid lines over a natural look, so I think we suited each other well.
