There was no waiting time, and the consultation with the doctor lasted about 15 minutes. I asked about nasal bone osteotomy and alar reduction, but was told that my septum was very deviated, which might make breathing uncomfortable, and that my nose looked crooked. There is turbulent airflow on one side, so breathing is not completely comfortable, but it is not seriously inconvenient. I had never been told by anyone, including my family, that my nose was crooked, and I did not even have it as a complex because I could barely notice the asymmetry in the mirror, so I took it lightly. Throughout the consultation, the doctor kept mentioning asymmetry rather than nasal bone osteotomy or alar reduction, so I felt our goals were different. The cost was not as high as I expected, and it was comfortable and nice that the coordinator did not come into the consultation.
