The doctor has many good reviews and seemed capable of difficult surgeries, so I booked a consultation from outside the city. The clinic was clean and there was only one other person, so the wait was short. As soon as I entered, the doctor glanced at my eyes and, without any explanation, simply said, “These are eyes that need incisional double-eyelid surgery and ptosis correction.” I was taken aback at first. Instead of explaining why those procedures seemed necessary, he immediately gave the conclusion. When I said I was worried about certain aspects, he again gave no explanation and just said, “I’m telling you, all of that will disappear with incisional surgery and ptosis correction, won’t it?” That was all he said. I had nothing more to say either. I understood that incision and ptosis correction would be needed, but the explanation was insufficient. T_T He did seem confident and may have his own consultation style… The coordinator was kind.
