As soon as I entered the hospital, the perfume smell was so strong that it gave me a headache, and I felt uncomfortable from the first impression. In particular, the coordinators’ faces looked very artificial and unnatural overall, which actually increased my fear of plastic surgery. Since I wanted to become prettier in a natural way, the appearance of the hospital staff felt burdensome, and it did not increase my trust in the surgical results. During the consultation, I also felt somewhat pressured by recommendations for additional procedures or surgery. Most of all, I felt they were subtly recommending a junior doctor with little experience, which was disappointing. For a patient, the surgeon’s experience, skill, and aesthetic sense are very important when deciding on surgery, so I wish they would explain these things sufficiently and respect the patient’s right to choose. Overall, the hospital’s atmosphere and consultation style did not suit me, and I was left feeling burdened in many ways rather than feeling comfortable and building trust. Personally, I value natural results, sufficient explanations, and respect for the patient’s wishes, so I will carefully consider returning or deciding on surgery.
