I had already put down a deposit because of the sleep anesthesia, so I went ahead with the procedure. First, the consultation manager was extremely inflexible and, even though I didn’t ask any questions, kept steering me toward additional procedures. I had caught the flu badly, so it seemed like I wouldn’t be able to have anesthesia. I was told to change the appointment to Monday right after the weekend and put down an additional deposit, with the information that both deposits would be deducted when paying on the day of the procedure. But the consultation manager just said the deposit had been forfeited because I didn’t reschedule within three days. They said they had sent the details by text, but I never received such a message. Even when I said I was so sick with the flu that I likely couldn’t have anesthesia and asked whether I was supposed to come in and get the procedure anyway, they just talked about something else. When I said by phone that I had been told the deposit could be used together, they left me alone in the consultation room and went out for about 10 minutes to check. Whether they verified the call or whatever, they came back and only said it had been confirmed, without apologizing. I was so angry that instead of paying for the 3-session package I had planned, I only paid for one session, got the procedure, and left. Also, they charged 165,000 won for sleep anesthesia, but I didn’t fall asleep.
