I went thinking I didn’t need an inner canthoplasty, but they kept bringing it up. When I said I was only thinking about double eyelids, they kept bringing up the inner canthoplasty because it was the vacation season and discounted then;; I kept thinking about how a relative succeeded here with inner canthoplasty and double eyelids, so I said I’d do it for now.. The person who consulted me was kind of bad at explaining things. The doctor was just so-so, and because of the timing I made the surgery decision too impulsively. During the double eyelid surgery, they didn’t cut the stitches themselves and had someone else do it. Since it was under local anesthesia, I heard everything.. I think the stitches were removed on day 5 a little early, and there were two visible lines at the front of the crease, which they said was because of swelling and that the scar would last a bit long. Now it’s been over a year, and the front line is still doubled, one eye shows the mucous membrane, and the inner canthoplasty scar is long and dark enough that anyone can tell I had surgery. The crease folds inward toward the middle of the eye, to the point that it’s embarrassing to call it surgery..ㄴ. Still, one eye is at least okay, but the other eye is legendary. I felt the post-op care was weak, and if I ever have revision surgery, I don’t think I’d do it here! Everyone’s experience is different, so just take this as a reference.
