갸름한 — Review

I had cheekbone, chin tip, and square jaw reduction done by Director Park Noh-hyuk in 2017. If I remember correctly, there was no consultation fee back then, but from the reviews now it seems to be 20,000 won? I visited 11 places, and looking at the bone structure based on the CT results, he was the most meticulous, objective, and cool-headed in consultation, which made me trust him. He did not push surgery on me, and I even saw him send people back if they did not meet the criteria. The consultation was thorough, so it wasn't just a quick send-off to the next patient; he also actively answered questions. He understood all my anxieties, and after three consultations I finally decided on surgery. He has his own subjective aesthetic standards, so be sure to look carefully at the before-and-after photos on the site before deciding. He tends to cut aggressively and aims for a natural direction that minimizes sagging as much as possible rather than a fox-eye or doll-like line. So if you expect a dramatic result, you may end up disappointed. (I also had mine shaved in the safest, most natural way possible, but since bone was removed, sagging started to show after five years.) Also, although it was included in the contouring package at that time (please confirm now), he also did buccal fat removal and double chin liposuction while he was at it. (I guess he felt sorry for me because I have a big face lol;) I know these are normally separate procedures that cost extra.. Once I understood all of this overall, I felt like I could trust him with it, and overall he seems like a really good doctor. The director and the staff were also generally kind. The facilities, especially the inpatient room, were comfortable and not inconvenient. The aftercare is also extremely thorough. My swelling was terrible and did not go down much, so every time they gave me swelling injections, and maybe as a bonus, or because they felt bad for me, or because that's what they normally do, they also gave me jaw Botox lol Somehow, he was the doctor who most strongly empathized with the patient's worries about their face and felt the most human. He is not the kind of doctor who disappears after surgery because he's busy operating on other patients; rather, every time I went, he would check on me, manage my care, and if anything was lacking, he told me to come by anytime, like a tsundere uncle.. Ah, I do not know if he still does this, but he is famous for doing surgeries only in the morning and not in the afternoon. He only does consultations and patient care in the afternoon. There is also CCTV, so I can be sure this is not a place with a shadow doctor. As for the cost, by the standards at the time and based on the average of the 11 places I visited, it was right around the middle or slightly above. For the three contouring procedures bundled together, it was originally over 10 million won, but when I said I would pay in cash, he cut it to exactly 10 million won. (Regarding this part, the staff at the time may have changed by now, and it may be different under the hospital's current policies.) Anyway, he has been at this one place for a long time, has a clean track record, and is a doctor you can trust.
