I had the Double Up Hiko procedure and was extremely satisfied at first But I may have gotten the Hi-ko complication I'd only heard about The bridge of my nose turned red and looked like keloid-prone skin, and inflammation started to build up I could see pus had collected, but I just kept putting Duoderm on it thinking it would get better soon Then it got so bad that I made a hospital appointment Sure enough, the day before I went, the pus burst and ran out I removed all the pus myself at home, disinfected it, and put Duoderm back on Then the next day I went to the hospital, and they just said the same thing "It's because of the thread. If it doesn't come out naturally, it can't be removed." I went to the hospital 3 or 4 times because of this complication, and every time they said the same thing It's a huge stress by itself. Imagine having a 0.5- to 1-cm red scar on the bridge of your nose. Of course you'd be angry.. What was irritating was that the doctor acted like they were a sympathetic person and said there was nothing they could do. That's fine once or twice, but by the third time hearing it, I was really furious. Still, the hospital itself seems like it was trying to take responsibility for the complication until the end? They said they'd do laser treatment if a scar forms, but whether that's just talk or something they really do remains to be seen Still, the advantages are: I like the shape of my nose. I was worried about my long midface, but it definitely looks a bit shorter by comparison When I went in for the inflammation, they gave me an anti-inflammatory injection Appointments and KakaoTalk consultations are ridiculously fast and friendly PS: Recently the problematic thread came out, so I pulled it out myself at homeㅋㅋㅋ It wasn't just a little bit sticking out, there was a ton of it, so I was able to remove it on my own (I was just walking around wearing makeup and keeping Duoderm on it to avoid scarring, and maybe it came out by chance when I changed the Duoderm!) Normally, if you can feel something, you're supposed to go to the hospital and have it removed! Oh, and the consultation here is only with the consultation manager
