I had a hard time after a previous inner canthoplasty reconstruction, like I was walking around with a goofy expression all the time, and after secondary canthoplasty at another hospital it got much better, but one eye still had the characteristic post-reconstruction Mongolian fold puffiness, with a blunt, round shape and a stuffy-looking inner corner, so I came here worried. I had also consulted another hospital, and they told me it couldn't be done and I should just live with it.. They said that because the surgical range wasn't large, it would also be hard to get the result I wanted. I was worried they would say no here too, but both the director and the manager were so, so kind that I felt comfortable during the consultation, and in the end they said it was possible, so I had the surgery. Right after the surgery, when I looked at my eyes, I wanted them to look as open and refreshed as my right eye, but I worried they might have made it too small, so I wasn't fully satisfied. The manager said it would open up more after the stitches were removed, so I tried to keep my mind as calm as possible and waited. It was a small area, but it was still surgery, so I guess there was swelling. After the swelling and stitches came out, it looked a bit more refreshed, so I was relieved and very grateful. Now, as the tissue is recovering, it seems to be in the swelling-up phase again, and I'm worried it might heal closed like this, but they said it swells up and then goes down again, so I'm waitingㅠ Even after the surgery was over, the hospital manager kept looking at my photos periodically, checking my condition and giving feedback, so I feel like I can trust and wait. This hospital has a lot of reviews for inner canthoplasty reconstruction, but it's hard to find cases of secondary canthoplasty after reconstruction..
