It seems like the doctor can't tell the difference between blunt honesty and rudeness. They only seem kind to patients who clearly have an angle that will change a lot after surgery. It's not like I'm getting a free consultation either; I'm paying for it, and from the very start they spoke casually. If it were blunt casual talk that really hit home, I could accept it, but this was more like the casual talk of a street vendor. (I just wrote any estimate because I was told I had to include a cost estimate.)
