First of all, the doctor is extremely kind. It was Director Shin Dong-seok, I think, and he explained everything calmly and carefully while drawing things out for me. But the counseling manager... the words themselves may differ, but she kept saying subtly unpleasant things, like trying to get me to do this place too. I had gone only for eye consultation, but the consultation ended up taking almost an hour. (The director took about 10 minutes.) And when I said I didn’t want to proceed because the price just didn’t fit, she said at the front desk where everyone was, “So you’ve decided to keep living with a distinctive face?” I was so annoyed that I felt like canceling the surgery was the right call.
