One-month review after philtrum reduction. I swear on my salary that I’m not a broker, not a paid post, and this is a genuine review paid with my own money. After finishing tooth extraction orthodontics, my philtrum got too long, so I looked into philtrum reduction. Director Lee Min-a is a solo practitioner, and my chin length was 3 cm while my philtrum length was 2 cm -> reduced to 1.4 cm, so it went down by 6 mm and the philtrum length : chin length became 1 : 2, creating a golden ratio. My lower face became dramatically prettier, I got out of the monkey-like look, and I’m truly satisfied. Before surgery, my philtrum was long so I had a monkey-like look, and my lower face complex was severe enough that I wore a mask everywhere, but now my philtrum is shorter, I’ve gotten out of that look, my complex is gone, and I go around without a mask. After shortening the philtrum and adding a C-curve to the philtrum groove, it seems like my protruding mouth has improved too. I had absolutely no side effects, and I was able to go back to daily life immediately after two days. The scar is almost not visible at all, and people around me also say they can’t see it. Even when I look in the mirror, I don’t worry about the scar. The doctor’s suturing technique is really meticulous and perfect, so there’s almost no scar. I’m very satisfied that the philtrum is shorter, but what I’m happiest about is that my side profile photos come out really well. Even with the default camera and no retouching at all, my lower face and side profile look so pretty that it makes me want to take photos. The price was 163.9 for inner philtrum reduction + 53.9 for the C-curve = 217.8. So far I’ve tried tooth extraction orthodontics, tip rhinoplasty, inner philtrum reduction, and other things like chin Botox and chin filler, and this was by far the surgery I think I made the best choice to do.
