I remember that instead of using anesthetic cream, because it causes swelling and makes it hard to shape carefully, they said they would use an extremely thin needle. It didn’t hurt and was tolerable. I asked them not to put anything in the middle because I dislike a double lip, and they listened to my opinion well while doing it, even suggesting maybe putting in just a very small amount since leaving it empty could look strange, which I liked.
