I was debating things like whether to do only an upper canthoplasty, an upper canthoplasty + double eyelid surgery, only double eyelid surgery, and if doing double eyelid surgery, whether in-out or semi-out would be better, but they honestly told me not to do the upper canthoplasty. They drew about three possible lines and helped me choose two of them, and for those two they even showed me the side line in detail several times, so I could choose carefully. They suggested fat removal and eye muscle correction because after double eyelid surgery, fat could protrude between the back part of the eye and the eyebrow. The quote they gave for fat removal + eye muscle correction + partial incision seemed tens of thousands of won more expensive than the price for a similar combination at other hospitals.. (It may be because it’s a private clinic, but still, the price difference feels huge.) I had also been told at another clinic that eye muscle correction and fat removal weren’t necessary, so I wondered if this wasn’t just them adding things in, but maybe they really are necessary... I’m not sure.
