My waist didn't become dramatically slim, but it definitely got smaller. More than anything, my lower back used to hurt a bit on a normal day, and after removing the fat, it definitely seemed to reduce the strain on my back. It's been about two years, and there is still a little unevenness, but only to a degree that I know about, so I just live with it. If I went back, I would do it again.
