I had surgery with buried sutures 7 years ago, and one side came undone, so I had revision surgery on just that side 3 years ago. It's still holding up well. I wanted an inline shape, but when I first had it done, one side was an out-line, so that side was on the verge of coming undone anyway. When I went for the revision surgery, I think the doctor had changed, but they were kind and nice.
