This was the place I visited as my second in-person consultation after doing a lot of online research. I consulted with Director Kim Do-hoon, and he explained things kindly and calmly whenever I asked questions, so the consultation felt comfortable. He said both buried and incision methods were possible, but considering the sagging of my eyes, a surgery with about a 3 mm incision would probably be more suitable, though he said scarring would be unavoidable. He said if I chose the buried method, the maintenance period would be about 3 years, and about 10 years for the incision method, and that I was not yet at the stage where brow lift was needed. He also said that even with an incision, since I currently have about 7 mm of eye sagging, there would still be some room left for a revision if needed. My eye-head line is originally on the higher side, so if that part is preserved, the overall line may become a bit higher and could give a slightly heavy, overly made-up impression. But the incision line he tried on didn't suit me either, because it felt too much like a folded double lid, so I told him I preferred the buried line itself. He may have misunderstood my explanation on this point, and it seemed to be conveyed incorrectly as if I preferred a higher line. The gist was that I didn't love the buried line either, but the incision looked more like a no-crease-to-inner-crease look than I expected, so I meant that the buried method was better than that. Right after the director consultation, I met with the manager. The prices seemed all over the place. I had clearly seen on a local mom cafe that a 4-point natural adhesion method was in the 500,000-won range, and Baribotok showed a similar level, but they quoted 1.21 million won, or 1 million if booked the same day, so it felt like a very elastic estimate. Also, there was an older person among the people waiting, and I couldn't know exactly what was going on, so I can't judge it properly, but seeing that they kept talking with the manager in the waiting room made me a little worried about whether I would really get to meet the doctor properly when I returned after surgery. In the end, it was decent but not so compelling that I felt immediately drawn to it, so I'm holding off for now.
