I'll start by giving the chief coordinator 5 points. First, these days the doctors graduated from Seoul National University Medical School anyway, so I don't really see that as such a big advantage like before. The attitude of looking down on other clinics and acting as if only their own clinic is something special was, psychologically, at a level that would require long-term treatment. Not being able to distinguish between confidence and arrogance in front of patients who are paying you to operate on them, and those casual remarks like "You should have gone to a good clinic" and "You shouldn't go to a cheap clinic" were really shocking. When the clinic first opened, the patients who went to those clinics probably had their own worries, consultations, and legwork, and if they had been unlucky they might have met brokers too, but looking back, those were probably some of the hospitals that were doing well at the time. Everyone already knows that the price they quote now is not the old price before the move. And a little searching shows that their success rate isn't especially high relative to others. Among the clinics they sneered at, there are probably many that belong to alumni seniors. Please be good to the chief coordinator who is cleaning up after this. As I left feeling irritated, the way they kept trying to smooth things over made them look like the hospital's emotional mother and de facto operator.
