Last year, after I was dissatisfied with nose surgery at another hospital, I had removal surgery here and also had my alar base reduced. The manager kept saying there is absolutely no chance of a wide nasal base, no keloids, no wide nasal base for men either. The doctor also said there is absolutely no chance. They said the suturing technique is the best, so I doubted and asked several times before going ahead... First of all, the surgery is done while you are awake throughout, and honestly, when they were reducing my alar base, I wondered how carelessly the doctor was handling my head. It was as if I were being treated like an animal. I felt offended and even humiliated. They also criticized other cases, saying they had not made a groove in the alar base and therefore there was no scar, but mine was placed too high on the alar base, and even now, a year later, I am still living with needle marks and incision marks. The truth is that this was faded only after I spent money on laser treatment at a dermatology clinic in the early stage... Later the manager said that I had asked when the scar would not appear, and the doctor said there was nothing they could do. If they were that confident, they should take responsibility too. I still have a complex about my side profile because of this scar.. People around me say the needle marks are because my nasal pores are too large, or ask whether the scar is where the sebum on my nose gathers... The truth is that it looks like that because it is sunken and shadowed, and it is really heartbreaking... I had high expectations, but this place also left me with a big wound.
