My eyelids were deeply sunken, so I got consultations at a few places about fat grafting, but first the manager’s consultation was thorough and the director’s consultation was even more detailed, so I decided to have the surgery. (They said that if I did under-eye fat grafting too, it would help correct the tired look in my face, so I decided to do that as well.) They unexpectedly also suggested considering forehead reduction because my forehead is wide, which was a little surprising, but after the surgery I didn’t get any bruising and after about a week I was able to manage daily life, even if only barely. They said they would overcorrect by about 30% in case some of the graft didn’t take and would fall out, and my eyelids are still a little puffy, but I really like the under-eye area.
