For my first surgery consultation, I thought it was interesting that this plastic surgery clinic was on the basement level near Gangnam Station. The consultation with the manager was good, but the consultation with the director was honestly just so-so. It felt like being given an explanation from a factory-style clinic? It didn't feel like an explanation tailored to my eyes; it felt like, whoever came in, they'd just say in a routine way, 'Do this, do that.' During the director consultation, I felt like I shouldn't do it here. Also, after visiting five places, nowhere else said I needed eye correction, but here they said I should do it, so I was kind of taken aback. But the manager was unbelievably good at charming people with the consultation, really good at empathizing, and the consultation itself was enjoyable. In the end, I put down a 100,000 won deposit.. It was because you get a big discount if you leave the deposit on the same day. But after leaving the clinic and writing down my consultation notes, I thought it over and decided that surgery is done by the doctor, so I should judge rationally, and in the end I didn't choose here. The deposit doesn't disappear even if you don't have the surgery. Even after n years, if you put down the deposit, you can get surgery at that price. If you don't get surgery, you can use it for another procedure. That also played a part in why I put down the deposit.. But almost a year has passed and I still didn't have surgery here, and I don't think I'll be going there for another procedure either for now. Ah, as expected, even if they say the deposit is refundable, I think it's better not to put it down. Anyway, if you transfer the 100,000 won deposit on the consultation day (they issue a cash receipt), they give you the final price of 1,550,000 won. (As of July 2025) And because it's a partial model condition price, if the clinic requests it, you have to send a face photo, and there are a total of 4 required review posts across Kangnam and Babitalk.
