The older manager threatened to sue me for defamation. The personality was awful, and the doctor also lacked consultation expertise. They never once tried to think from the patient’s perspective, and when I raised concerns about a structural problem while describing my discomfort, they said it was a psychological issue and told me it was my personal problem, asking why I was bringing it up to them. The doctor himself had brought up a structural issue related to the brake first, so when I asked about that, he suddenly changed his story and said he had never said that. I knew this hospital had major issues with scarring and similar problems, so the consultation felt extremely defensive. I wasn’t there for surgery at all, just to consult about my current condition after being referred by another hospital, but I really cannot understand why the older female manager here and the doctor would hurt a patient who came looking for advice from the blind spot like this.
