It was when my motivation for life hit rock bottom after finishing chemotherapy. At that time, I wanted to at least try one thing I wanted to do, so I looked into liposuction haha I went around getting consultations, and when I met Dr. Choi, the thing I trusted most was his honesty. From the start, he said it wasn’t recommended because I had a history of chemotherapy and my skin elasticity had dropped. He clearly told me that my arms would get thinner, but sagging could happen. But maybe because I had come to the edge of death, I just wanted to try doing what I wanted. More than a little sagging, it felt more important to me to have slim arms at least once. So I went ahead and did it, and followed the instructions strictly. I wore the compression garment longer than other people and kept up with aftercare consistently. Even at the beginning, the sagging wasn’t as bad as I expected, and over time the line settled nicely. It’s been about a year since the surgery now, and I’m very satisfied while also working out and controlling my diet. I think it was a good choice that I did it without overthinking back then. These days I’m getting greedy for my side waist too, so I’m looking into that again haha
