As of writing this, I’ve visited five clinics for consultations, and only two of them mentioned that my pupil show amount is different. One of them was this place. But I had never paid attention to the difference in pupil show, and it didn’t bother me, so when I said I didn’t want eyelid correction, they did say I didn’t have to do it either (they did recommend it if I wanted to match the pupil show, though). So I liked that there was no pressure. I said that scar improvement was my top priority, and they told me the scar couldn’t be fully excised and would need to be redone with a double-line method, and that if scar improvement was the biggest goal, they wouldn’t really recommend surgery right now. I really liked how honestly the director spoke, and it built trust. When I asked, “Then should I do it later when I have more loose skin?” they said that would be fine too and told me not to force it. Anyway, because scar improvement is my top priority, my expectations for surgery are average.
