I could finally let go of my lingering attachment to functional nose surgery.. I usually had nasal congestion during seasonal changes, before waking up, after waking up, and when the air conditioner was on, and when I rubbed my nose, I noticed a distinct fishy smell that also happened even when I wasn’t rubbing it, so I suspected sinusitis. Since my nose looked crooked, I judged that I probably had a deviated septum and came in thinking about both functional and cosmetic surgery. It seems like they don’t really speak unless the patient asks first. If you’re going to consult at this clinic, I recommend visiting at least one other place first to build some background knowledge about your nose, or studying through other media and coming up with a list of about five questions before the consultation I’m introverted too, so it felt awkward;; In the end, because around mid-March isn’t the peak of my rhinitis, the structural issues visible on the CT scan were completely absent, so I didn’t need functional surgery. I came for plastic surgery and left with only an ENT diagnosis. Would someone like this even exist… Anyway, it was a big help in deciding whether to get functional nose surgery. For reference, there was absolutely no pressure to pay a deposit, and they only asked when I was planning to have surgery. There was no mention of a discount if I provided a review or photos. Maybe they figured I probably wouldn’t have surgery here because of the CT results, so they didn’t pressure me.
