My first double-eyelid surgery. I had incision double-eyelid surgery, eye-muscle correction, and upper canthoplasty, and I did it because the consultation experience was so good, but even after 3 years I still regret it. The surgery itself was done well, but they set the line too high, so my eyes were already close to my eyebrows and now they are even closer. My brow-to-eye distance is appropriate, so I should not have had upper canthoplasty or inner canthoplasty, but they did it anyway, so my impression became harsh, and my eyes look even smaller and more crowded than before the double-eyelid surgery. The fixation is deep and the scar is still there, so it's truly the worst. It's at the level of driving me crazy. The surgery itself was done well, but they really have no aesthetic sense, and their sense of style is outdated. I clearly asked for a low line, and they said they would do it that way, but the first thing they said after the surgery was that they deliberately set it high because the line would lower with age. I should have realized it then. I thought it would be okay once the swelling went down, but even now it still looks obviously like I had double-eyelid surgery. And beyond just being obvious, it doesn't suit my face at all. Not a single person has said it looks better than before, and everyone only asks why they made the line so high. I want a revision surgery, but since the first one turned out like this, I'm too scared to do it. It seems they just relied on their experience, made the line however they wanted, and set it too high without properly agreeing on how many millimeters it would be. I still regret it.
