I had surgery in 2019, and it’s been 7 years, but it’s still holding up well. My friends all said it was a good surgery, both right after the operation and now, and even people who got to know me 2 to 3 years later all said they had no idea I’d had double eyelid surgery, so I think it just turned out naturally well. Since it was an incision method, it still hasn’t come undone. The doctor gives detailed counseling on everything from what you’re curious about to the cost. Before I got double eyelid surgery, I went around to about 10 clinics in Daejeon..? Anyway, I think I went to quite a few places, and only here and one other place recommended incision for me; the others all told me to do buried sutures. Back then I just chose here because the consultation felt the most trustworthy, but now that I think about it, maybe the director here just prefers incision and ptosis correction. Almost everyone who had surgery here got incision plus ptosis correction together. And since I have uneven eyes, I think one eye probably needed incision plus ptosis correction and the other eye was fine. Anyway, they made both eyes symmetrical and pretty. During the consultation, I think they said one eye would be done with partial incision and the other with full incision, and because of that, the partially incised side has no visible scar at all, while the full incision side does have a slight scar. But it doesn’t bother me much, so I just live with it. For reference, my mother also had double eyelid surgery here, and she had full incision plus fat removal and ptosis correction, but Mom has no scar at all. It seems to depend on the eye. Also, this clinic does not do sedation anesthesia… I was so scared, but at least there’s no worry about a surrogate surgery. The price must have gone up a lot by now, and even back then it wasn’t exactly cheap. Still, if it’s been completely intact and pretty up to now at that price, I’m satisfied.
